The room is pretty and decorated in medieval, the location is very convenient, and the most important thing is i think the price is worth.

Service from the hotel owner was very good.

Everything - rightf rom before we arrived. I was contacted by a reception staff member after booking via Booked.net because I had requested parking and there was none left on site. I was given very detailed instructions, along with a parking permit ahead of our journey, which all made it very easy to park and get there. Breakfast was superb - plenty of choice and excellent quality. Freindly staff, fantastic location, large room and great value for money. Would definitely stay here again.

Mattress was a bit uncomfortable, but the duvet was lovely!

When we checked in they made a mistake and only booked us a room for the second night and they didn't have any more rooms for the first night. I had a copy of my reservation and showed them, they found a room for us and apologized for their mistake. Travel with your proof of reservation

Our experience was unforgettable. We were the only guests at the hotel and the staff did everything to make our stay at the hotel as a unique experience. Extremely comfortable large room, very friendly staff, excellent location (right in the center of the city), great service. We enjoyed every minute there.

We recently visited the BioHotel Zum Baren on a long weekend trip to Rothenburg; the hotel is located in the center of the old city, and is easy to reach. The hotel does offer off-street parking, if booked ahead of time charges are reduced (if not then 6eur a day). Breakfast included and very complete. Staff are friendly and helpful - level of english is very good.

The hotel's rooms are split over two building, one is accross the street from the other. Not very bothersome, but took us by suprise.

We got a nice, big room and the bio breakfast in the morning was really really nice.

Excellent location literally steps away from the main square. Comfortable and spacious rooms, very good breakfast selection and an organic angle on everything, if you care about that sort of thing. Plus, if you have a car, you can park on the street right next to the entrance for free or use the hotel's own parking space for a small fee.

The entire staff was very helpful to us as a "mostly English"speaking couple giving good directions to the hotel when we arrived after dark on our first evening. The owner was very personable and took the time to have a lovely conversation about organic farming and cooking the perfect Christmas goose!! It was wonderful and welcoming.

Prime location in the center of town and a stone's throw to the Kriminalmuseum. The staff was professional and cordial. I am also very grateful to the owner for not charging us for an extra night due to a booking conflict on my part. Great complimentary breakfast with a parade of choices including some interesting local fare.

The second we walked in the door, we were greated kindly by the incredably friendly staff, and treated like gold during our entire stay. Easy to find in the heart of beautiful Rothenberg. Fantastic restaurant! Spacious clean room with a beautiful bathroom and comfortable beds. I can't say enough wonderful things about this hotel. Stay here!!!

My husband was a bit uncomfortable in the morning. The staff allowed me to bring their buffet breakfast to room. They even gave me a tray, everything for our comfort... very considerate!!

The room was spacious, well furnished and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful and spoke English. Breakfast was great. We had dinner in the restaurant, and it was also great.

WiFi was free, but was only available in the lobby across the street. The handheld shower could not be left in the bracket when turned on because the surge of water caused it to come out of the bracket and spray the entire bathroom.
